Recommendation Concerning Approval of 25% of the Costs to Prepare the Maintenance of Traffic Plan as it Relates to the Pensacola Bay Bridge Replacement Project - Commissioner Grover Robinson, District IV
That the Board approve to reimburse the City of Gulf Breeze 25% of the total cost for the preparation of the Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) Plan, as it relates to the Pensacola Bay Bridge Replacement Project, not to exceed $5,000.

BACKGROUND:
On April 23, 2015 the Board formally endorsed the MOT and recommended that the Transportation Planning Organization (TPO) incorporate the recommendations from the MOT into their findings and to work with the Florida Department of Transportation to incorporate these findings into the design/build for the Pensacola Bay bridge replacement projects.
The MOT working group for this study included representatives of Escambia County, the City of Gulf Breeze, Santa Rosa County and the City of Pensacola. Each of these representatives were asked to pay 25% of the cost of the study with the total cost not to exceed $20,000.
BUDGETARY IMPACT:
A budget amendment will be processed to move funds from the General Fund reserves for operating to reimburse the City of Gulf Breeze.
