Recommendation Concerning Budget Amendment #271 - Stephan Hall, Budget Manager, Management and Budget Services
That the Board approve Budget Amendment #271, Community Redevelopment Fund (151), Bob Sikes Toll Fund (167), in the amount of $17,200, to cover personnel shortages in Community Redevelopment and the Bob Sikes Toll Facility.
BACKGROUND:
The following Divisions will require additional personnel funds to complete FY 14/15. The following are the explanations for each area.
Community Redevelopment Administration (CRA):
- An Environmental Program Manager position received a pay adjustment and retroactive pay in October 2014.
Bob Sikes Toll Facility:
- The Program Manager left the County and received a payout. Then the employee who replaced the Program Manager later promoted to a Division Manager also causing this shortage.
BUDGETARY IMPACT:
This amendment transfers funds from reserves to personnel accounts, hence no additional revenues are associated with this amendment. Departmental budgets are not increasing.
