Recommendation Concerning the Cancellation of nine Residential Rehab Grant Program Liens - Keith T. Wilkins, Community & Environment Department Director
That the Board ratify the following June 25, 2015 action of the Board of County Commissioners of Escambia County, acting in its capacity as the Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA), concerning the cancellation of the Residential Rehab Grant Program:
A. Approving the following cancellation of nine Residential Rehab Grant Program Liens, as the Grant recipients have met their Grant requirements:

B. Authorizing the Chairman to execute the Cancellation of Lien documents.
BACKGROUND:
The aforementioned property owners have satisfied their one-year compliance with the Residential Rehab Grant Program.
BUDGETARY IMPACT:
There will be no budgetary impact.
LEGAL CONSIDERATIONS/SIGN-OFF:
Kristin Hual, Assistant County Attorney, has reviewed and approved the Cancellation of Lien documents as to form and legal sufficiency.
PERSONNEL:
Community and Environment Department/Community Redevelopment Agency (CED/CRA) staff coordinates the Residential Rehab Grant Program and all associated administrative functions.
POLICY/REQUIREMENT FOR BOARD ACTION:
Current practice requires Board approval for Residential Rehab Grant Program lien cancellations.
IMPLEMENTATION/COORDINATION:
Upon obtaining the Chairman’s signature, the Clerk of Court will record the Cancellation of Lien documents for the owner.
