Recommendation Concerning Supplemental Budget Amendment #140 - Stephan Hall, Management and Budget Services Interim Department Director
That the Board adopt the Resolution approving Supplemental Budget Amendment #140, Gulf Coast Restoration Fund (118), in the amount of $562,545, to recognize Grant proceeds from the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), and to appropriate these funds for operations and maintenance services to boat ramps renovated and constructed under Deepwater Horizon Natural Restoration Damage Early Restoration Program (NRDA ERP).
BACKGROUND:
Escambia County has been awarded funds from Florida DEP for the operation and maintenance expenses during the grant period at four public boat ramps - Navy Point, Mahogany Mill, Galvez Landing, and Perdido River. This funding is related to Escambia County's award of $4 million from Natural Resources Damage Assessment (NRDA) resulting from the Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill.
BUDGETARY IMPACT:
This amendment will increase Fund 118 by $562,545.
