Recommendation Concerning Supplemental Budget Amendment #150 - Stephan Hall, Budget Manager, Management and Budget Services
That the Board adopt the Resolution approving Supplemental Budget Amendment #150, Other Grants and Projects Fund (110), in the amount of $8,046, to recognize Grant proceeds from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) for FWC #18212 - Derelict Vessel Grant to remove and dispose of an eligible derelict vessel. Total project cost is $10,727 and requires a 25% match of $2,682 and has unanticipated contingency costs of $2,318, which will be provided from Vessel Registration Fees. Natural Resources Management will also provide project management for in-kind match.
BACKGROUND:
On April 16, 2019, the BCC approved the Derelict Vessel Removal Grant from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) in the amount of $8,046. Total project cost is $10,727 and requires a 25% match. Escambia County will provide the $2,682 cash match along with an estimated $2,318 for unanticipated contigency costs from Vessel Registration Fees (Fund 110, Cost Center 220807). Natural Resources will also provide project managment for in-kind match and will continue coordination with FWC on all activities associated with the Grant agreement.
BUDGETARY IMPACT:
This amendment will increase Fund 110 in the amount of $8,046. There is a $2,682 cash match along with an additional $2,318 requested for unanticipated contignecy costs which will be provided from Vessel Registration Fees.
