Recommendation Concerning a Settlement for Earnest Stanberry, Jr., & Linda F. Stanberry for All Claims for Property Damage in the Area of 8719 Orange Avenue - Robert Dye, Manager, Risk Management Office
That the Board consider whether to approve the General Release and Settlement Agreement for Earnest Stanberry, Jr., and Linda F. Stanberry to settle a claim, in the amount of $13,346.82, for flooding at the property owned by Earnest Stanberry in the area of 8719 Orange Avenue, with any action conditioned upon receipt of a properly executed release from the property owner.

BACKGROUND:
Mr. Stanberry submitted a claim for damages to his property as a result of flooding on or about January 2-3, 2017. The County Administrator directed the Risk Manager to determine a settlement offer for the damages sustained. The settlement offer represents a negotiated amount for the damages claimed. Mr. Stanberry has agreed to the settlement offer.

Funds are budgeted in Funding: 501 (Internal Service Fund), Balance Sheet Account 239898.
