Recommendation Concerning Supplemental Budget Amendment #190 - Stephan Hall, Budget Manager, Management and Budget Services
That the Board adopt the Resolution approving Supplemental Budget Amendment #190, Other Grants and Projects Fund (110), in the amount of $106,200, to recognize Grant proceeds from the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), and to appropriate these funds to create a Low Impact Design (LID) manual and provide workshops to professionals to educate them on how to incorporate LID practices in the site design and planning process for future development projects in the City of Pensacola and Escambia County. The local match requirement funding has been expended from Fund 151, CRA Fund, on a previously- constructed, pervious pavement project at the Juanita Williams County Park.
BACKGROUND:
Escambia County has been awarded funds from Florida DEP to FWC to provide financial assistance for a Low Impact Design (LID) manual and provide workshops to professional engineers, architects, land use planners and developers in Escambia County to educate them on how to incorporate LID practices in the site design and planning process for future development projects in the City of Pensacola and Escambia County. The local match requirement funding has been expended from Fund 151, CRA Fund, on a previously constructed pervious pavement project at the Juanita Williams County Park.
BUDGETARY IMPACT:
This amendment will increase Fund 110 by $106,200.
