RECOMMENDATION:
Recommendation Concerning the Scheduling of a Public Hearing for the Brylington Manor Street Lighting Municipal Services Benefit Unit - Sharon Harrell, Interim Budget Manager, Management and Budget Services

That the Board authorize the scheduling of a public hearing on July 2, 2020, at 5:35 p.m., to consider adoption of an ordinance creating the Brylington Manor Street Lighting Municipal Services Benefit Unit (MSBU).
BACKGROUND:
The majority property owners in Brylington Manor submitted a letter of request asking the County to create a street lighting MSBU within the subdivision. The letter is sufficient to meet the MSBU Guidelines and Procedures.

The Brylington Manor lighting district plan proposal:
*74 Assessable lots located in Commission District 1.
*20 Lights in initial plan.
*Year 1 Assessment: $155.54, includes reserve and 15 months of service.
*Year 2 and Beyond Assessment: $115.21, 12 months of service.

POLICY/REQUIREMENT FOR BOARD ACTION:
The Board must approve the scheduling of public hearings, per F.S. 166.41.
IMPLEMENTATION/COORDINATION:
The property owners will be notified of the date, time and place of the public hearing by mail and by advertisement in the Pensacola News Journal.
