RECOMMENDATION:

Recommendation Concerning Street Name Approval of “Myslak Way" - Horace Jones, Development Services Department Director

That the Board approve the street name “Myslak Way” for a private road running south off the 3800 block of W Nine Mile Road, approximately 3000 feet west of Interstate 10. One hundred percent of the property owners signed the petition. This street is in Commission District 1.

BACKGROUND:

One hundred percent of the property owners signed the petition. This street is in Commission District 1.

BUDGETARY IMPACT:

Cost of one new street sign, which is $355, will be funded by the Public Works Department/Transportation and Traffic Division [Funding Source: Fund 175, "Transportation Trust Fund" Cost Center 211201, Object Code 55201]

LEGAL CONSIDERATIONS/SIGN-OFF:

The street is being named pursuant to the Escambia County street naming and numbering Ordinance 86-11, adopted under the authority of Florida Statutes Chapter 125 and 336.
