RECOMMENDATION:

Recommendation Concerning Supplemental Budget Amendment #167, OEA Grant Appropriation, Horace Jones, Development Services Department Director - Sharon Harrell, Interim Budget Manager, Management and Budget Services

That the Board adopt the Resolution approving Supplemental Budget Amendment #167, Other Grants and Projects Fund (110), in the amount of $225,000, to recognize proceeds from the Office of Economic Adjustment (OEA), Department of Defense, and to appropriate these funds for the Naval Air Station Compatible Use and Joint Land Use Studies project.

BACKGROUND:

On July 16, 2020, it is anticipated the Board will accept a Grant from Office of Economic Adjustment (OEA), Department of Defense, in the amount of $225,000. The Grant proceeds, along with the required 10% match, will be used to fund the Naval Air Station Compatible Use and Joint Land Use Studies project. The 10% match will be provided by Development Services in the form of in-kind contributions such as hosting, advertising, and arranging meetings.

BUDGETARY IMPACT:

This Amendment will increase Fund 110 by $225,000.
