Recommendation Concerning Supplemental Budget Amendment #166, Jason Rogers, Public Safety Department Director - Sharon Harrell, Interim Budget Manager, Management and Budget Services
That the Board adopt the Resolution approving Supplemental Budget Amendment #166, Other Grants and Projects Fund (110), in the amount of $19,949, to recognize proceeds from the State of Florida Division of Emergency Management (FDEM) Federally-funded Subaward and Grant Agreement G0137, Emergency Management Performance Grant, COVID-19 Supplemental (EMPG-S), and to appropriate these funds to assist local emergency management agencies with preventing, preparing for, and responding to the COVID-19 public health emergency for the period of April 27, 2020, through June 30, 2021.
BACKGROUND:
On July 16, 2020, it is anticipated the Board will approve the
State of Florida Division of Emergency Management (FDEM)
Federally-funded Subaward and Grant Agreement G0137, Emergency Management Performance Grant, COVID-19 Supplemental (EMPG-S). These funds will assist local emergency management agencies with preventing, preparing for, and responding to the COVID-19 public health emergency for the period of April 27, 2020, through June 30, 2021.
BUDGETARY IMPACT:
This Amendment will increase Fund 110 by $19,949.
