RECOMMENDATION:

Recommendation Concerning the Issuance of a 14-day Consecutive Temporary Concrete Permit for the Crushing and/or Pulverizing of Excess Concrete Located and Generated at an Existing Concrete Batch Plant Known as American Concrete Supply, Inc.

That the Board of County Commissioners (BCC) review and approve, modify, or deny the issuance of a 14-day temporary concrete crushing permit for American Concrete Supply, Inc., for the next 45 days to allow for the crushing and/or pulverizing of its own aggregate material on site.

BACKGROUND:

In 2019, a request was made by American Concrete Supply, Inc., for a 14-day consecutive temporary concrete crushing permit for the crushing and/or pulverizing of material at its Quintette Plant. On June 6, 2019, the Board of County Commissioners (BCC) approved the issuance of the 14-day temporary permit to allow for the crushing of its own aggregate material on site. Please note that there was a previous request made in 2018 which was approved by the BCC on March 15, 2018.
