RECOMMENDATION:
Recommendation Concerning Contract Award for Re-Bid 17-18 Resurfacing Project - Joy Jones, P.E.,  Engineering Department Director, and Paul Nobles, Purchasing Manager, Office of Purchasing

That the Board approve and authorize the County Administrator to sign the Agreement between Escambia County, Florida, and Roads, Inc. of NWF, per the terms and conditions of PD 19-20.038, Re-Bid 17-18 Resurfacing Project, in the amount of  $1,224,286.17.

BACKGROUND:
Specification PD 19-20.038, Re-Bid 17-18 Resurfacing Project, was posted to Vendor Registry on February 20, 2020, and issued to 107 registrants representing 83 firms. The solicitation was viewed by 24 firms and downloaded by 19.

Bids were received from three firms and all were deemed responsive. Roads, Inc. of NWF was deemed the lowest responsive bidder with a bid of $1,224,286.17.

IMPLEMENTATION/COORDINATION:
The Office of Purchasing will issue the Purchase Order.
