| RECOMMENDATION: |
Recommendation Concerning the Contract Award for Muscogee Road Resurfacing, Jacks Branch to Nowak - Joy Jones, P.E., Engineering Director, through Paul Nobles, Purchasing Manager, Office of Purchasing
That the Board approve and authorize the County Administrator to sign the Agreement between Escambia County, Florida, and Roads Inc, of NWF, per the terms and conditions of PD 19-20.042, Muscogee Road Resurfacing, Jacks Branch to Nowak, in the amount of $458,689.97.

| BACKGROUND: |
| PD 19-20.042, Muscogee Road Resurfacing, Jacks Branch to Nowak, was publicly noticed to 50 firms (100 emails were sent) on March 9, 2020. A non-mandatory pre-solicitation conference was held on March 24, 2020. Three firms were represented at this meeting. Three bids were received on April 8, 2020. Two bids were received electronically and one hand delivered. All three were responsive to the terms and conditions of the solicitation. Roads Inc. of NWF, was the lowest most responsive and responsible bidder. |
