RECOMMENDATION:

Recommendation Concerning the Issuance of a 14-day Consecutive Temporary Concrete Permit for the Crushing and/or Pulverizing of Excess Concrete Located and Generated at an Existing Concrete Batch Plant Known as Ready Mix USA, LLC

That the Board of County Commissioners (BCC) review and approve, modify, or deny the issuance of a 14-day temporary concrete crushing permit for Ready Mix USA, LLC, for the next 45 days to allow for the crushing and/or pulverizing of its own aggregate material on site.

BACKGROUND:

In 2018, a request was made by Ready Mix USA, LLC for a 14-day consecutive temporary concrete crushing permit for the crushing and/or pulverizing of material at its Hwy 95A South plant. On March 15, 2018, the BCC approved the issuance of the 14-day temporary permit to allow for the crushing of its own aggregate material on site.
