RECOMMENDATION:

Recommendation Concerning Supplemental Budget Amendment #166 - Stephan Hall, Budget Manager, Management and Budget Services

That the Board adopt the Resolution approving Supplemental Budget Amendment #166, Other Grants and Projects Fund (110), in the amount of $1,087, to recognize interest and unrecognized gains from the 2016 Department of Justice Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant for the Escambia County Sheriff's Department, to support bike patrol activities. These funds will cover the payment of the final invoice from the Sheriff and close out the Grant.

BACKGROUND:

Escambia County Sheriff's Department of Justice Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Grant (2016-DJ-BX-1080) to support bike patrol activities, had unrecognized gains and interest associated with this grant and this resolution appropriates the funds of $1,087 to close out this grant.

BUDGETARY IMPACT:

This amendment will increase Fund 110 (Other Grants and Projects Fund) by $1,087.
