RECOMMENDATION:

Recommendation Concerning Pitney Bowes Digital Mailing System Lease Agreement, State of Florida Contract #44102100-17-1 - Mike Crittenden, Mass Transit Department Director

That the Board authorize the Chairman to sign the Lease Agreement with Pitney Bowes, per State of Florida Contract #44102100-17-1, for the Pitney Bowes digital mailing system for the Mass Transit Department for 60 months at the monthly cost of $26.97.

[Funding Source: Fund 104, Mass Transit Fund, Cost Center 211216]

BACKGROUND:

The current lease agreement for the digital mailing system used by Mass Transit has expired and in order to continue to use the digital mailing system, a new lease is required.

If the new Lease Agreement is approved by the Board, it is anticipated that the new equipment will be installed by the end of May 2019.

BUDGETARY IMPACT:

Funds are budgeted in Fund 104, Mass Transit Fund, Cost Center 211216.

LEGAL CONSIDERATIONS/SIGN-OFF:

Senior Assistant County Attorney Kristin Hual has approved the Lease Agreement as to form and legal sufficiency.

This recommendation is in compliance with the provisions of Section 46-139, Escambia County Code of Ordinances.
