Recommendation Concerning an Employee Engagement Survey - Eric Kleinert, Human Resources Department Director

That the Board approve the draft Scope of Work and authorize staff to proceed in contracting with an outside firm to conduct an Employee Engagement Survey.

BACKGROUND:

The Employee Engagement Survey was previously discussed at the Committees of the Whole Workshops held on January 17, 2019 and March 14, 2019. Board direction and discussion was mainly about the scope of work and the timing. Attached to this recommendation is a draft scope of work for the employee survey, with the intent on completion of the survey prior to the onboarding of the new County Administrator.

BUDGETARY IMPACT:

Budgetary Impact is estimated to be $20,000 but will fluctuate based on the authorized Scope of Work.
