Recommendation Concerning First Renewal of Lease Agreement between Escambia County and Perdido Key Area Chamber of Commerce, Inc., for County-Owned Property at 15500 Perdido Key Drive, Florida - Robert E. Dye, Interim Director, Facilities Management

That the Board approve and authorize the Chairman to sign the First Renewal of Lease Agreement between Escambia County and Perdido Key Area Chamber of Commerce, Inc. (PKACC), for property located at 15500 Perdido Key Drive, Pensacola, Florida, 32507.

BACKGROUND:

On February 18, 2014 the Board approved a Lease Agreement with Perdido Key Area Chamber of Commerce, Inc. (PKACC), for real property located at 15500 Perdido Key Drive, Pensacola, FL 32507. The initial term of the lease was for five (5) years commencing on February 18, 2014 and allows for the Lease to be renewed by PKACC for an additional five (5) years. PKACC has requested to renew the lease for the first additional five (5) years.

BUDGETARY IMPACT:

Perdido Key Area Chamber of Commerce, Inc. will pay rent of one dollar ($1.00) per year.

LEGAL CONSIDERATIONS/SIGN-OFF:

The County Attorney's Office has prepared the First Renewal of Lease Agreement and approved as to form and legal sufficiency.
