RECOMMENDATION:

Recommendation Concerning Supplemental Budget Amendment #024 - Stephan Hall, Budget Manager, Management and Budget Services

That the Board adopt the Resolution approving Supplemental Budget Amendment #024, Economic Development Fund (102), in the amount of $356,745, to recognize the fund balance in the fund, and to appropriate these funds for operational activities associated with County economic development initiatives for Fiscal Year 2017/2018.

BACKGROUND:

This Supplemental Budget Amendment recognizes the fund equity associated with the Economic Development Fund and appropriates these funds into the FY 2017/18 Budget for Economic Development activities and establishes the appropriate budget level to pay current invoices. The County received an invoice from the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity in the amount of $15,750 that was not anticipated for target industry tax refunds.
