RECOMMENDATION:
Recommendation Concerning the Request for Disposition of Property for the Public Safety Department - Michael D. Weaver, Public Safety Department Director

That the Board approve the Request for Disposition of Property Form for the Public Safety Department, for property which is described and listed on the Form, with reason for disposition stated.  It is requested that the listed items be donated to the Pine Forest High School Fire Academic Program for use as a training aid.  Having the listed equipment on hand greatly enhances the students learning experience.
BACKGROUND:
Escambia County policy establishes the procedures for disposing of surplus or obsolete equipment. The surplus property listed on the attached Request for Disposition of Property has been checked, declared to be surplus and/or no use to the County, and suitable to be donated.

POLICY/REQUIREMENT FOR BOARD ACTION:
This recommendation is in compliance with FS 274.07 and BCC Policy B-1,2, Section II, Procedures for Disposition of County Property.
