RECOMMENDATION:

Recommendation Concerning Authorization for the City Council to Appoint a Member to the Escambia County Mass Transit Advisory Committee - Joy D. Blackmon, P.E., Public Works Department Director

That the Board confirm the Pensacola City Council's appointment of Ms. Yolanda Anderson to the Escambia County Mass Transit Advisory Committee, to serve a term effective July 14, 2017, through May 1, 2021.

BACKGROUND:

The previous appointee, Barbara Mayall, resigned her appointment.

During the July 13, 2017, meeting, the City Council voted to appoint Yolanda Anderson as its representative.

POLICY/REQUIREMENT FOR BOARD ACTION:

The Board's policy requires the Escambia County Board of County Commissioners' approval of all committee appointments.

This appointment shall become effective upon approval by the Board.
