Recommendation Concerning the Solicitation Process for the Design/Build of the Escambia County Correctional Facility - Amy Lovoy, Assistant County Administrator

That the Board discuss and provide direction to staff concerning the solicitation process for the design/build of the Escambia County Correctional Facility.

BACKGROUND:

The solicitation process for the design/build of the Escambia County Correctional Facility is scheduled to commence in early November, 2016. The solicitation will consist of 2 phases: the Request for Qualifications (RFQ) phase and the Request for Proposals (RFP) phase. During each of these phases there are critical decision points. The attached presentation seeks Board guidance on the roles for the selection committee and the Board during these phases.
