RECOMMENDATION:

Recommendation Concerning the lease of copying and printing equipment for the Trial Court Administrator's Office - Will Moore, Chief Deputy Court Administrator

That the Board award a Purchase Order to CPC Office Technologies in the amount of $30,129.36, for the multi-year lease and installation of copying and printing equipment for the Office of the Trial Court Administrator, which encompasses offices in Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa, and Walton Counties.

BACKGROUND:

The Office of the Trial Court Administrator requested quotes from three local suppliers which included a deadline of October 19, 2016 at 12:00 pm. Only two vendors responded by the deadline. Attached are the two quotes received as well as the request for the third supplier that did not respond. Of the two quotes received, CPC Office Technologies was the lowest quote. Furthermore, the equipment quoted by CPC Office Technologies is on Florida state contract.

BUDGETARY IMPACT:

No budgetary impact to the Escambia County General Fund. Funding: Fund 115, Article V Court Administration, Cost Centers 410503, 410515, and 410516 Object Code 54401

POLICY/REQUIREMENT FOR BOARD ACTION:

This recommendation is in compliance with the Escambia County Florida Code of Ordinance Chapter 46, Article II, Purchasing and Contracts. Two quotes were received on October 18, 2016 and October 19, 2016, and the third supplier did not respond. CPC Office Technologies was the lowest quote.

IMPLEMENTATION/COORDINATION:

The Office of the Trial Court Administrator will distribute the Purchase Order.
