RECOMMENDATION:
Recommendation Concerning Mail Out of First Class Notices - Claudia Simmons, Purchasing Manager, Office of Purchasing

That the Board award a Purchase Order for Contract PD 15-16.074, First Class Mail Out, to Evergreen Corp. of Pensacola, Inc., for an approximate amount of $57,000, based on the bid amounts for printing and mailing of First Class Notices.

BACKGROUND:
The invitation to bid PD15-16.074  was advertised in the Pensacola News Journal on June 21, 2016. Five vendors were notified on June 21, 2016 . One Bid was received on July 5, 2016.  Evergreen Corp of Pensacola, Inc.  is the only bidder. The Purchase Order for the printing and mailing out of first class notices will be issued as needed to meet the  notice requirements pending approval of   MSBU rate changes by the  Board of County Commissioners for  FY2016-2017.

PERSONNEL:
The Office of Management and Budget will initiate the mail out of First Class notices.
POLICY/REQUIREMENT FOR BOARD ACTION:
This recommendation is in compliance with Escambia County Code of Ordinances Chapter 46, Article II, Purchases and Contracts.
IMPLEMENTATION/COORDINATION:
The Office of Purchasing will generate the Purchase Order.
