RECOMMENDATION:

Recommendation Concerning Administrative Budget Amendment #199 - Stephan Hall, Budget Manager, Management and Budget Services

That the Board approve Administrative Budget Amendment #199, Solid Waste Services Fund (401), in the amount of $1,556,000, to transfer funds from Reserves to Projects, and to appropriate these funds for the Perdido Class 1 Landfill Section 5, Cell 1A expansion sitework construction.

BACKGROUND:

On July 19, 2016, the Board will consider for approval the contract award P.D. 15-16.058 for the Perdido Class 1 Landfill Section 5 Cell 1A expansion sitework construction in the amount of $4,155,393. The Projects Cost Center needs an additional $1,556,000, the amount of this Budget Amendment, in order for the Purchase Order to be issued. Additional funds are being budgeted in Fiscal Year 2016-2017 for completion of the project.

BUDGETARY IMPACT:

This amendment will not increase or decrease Fund 401, but will transfer funds between Fund 401 cost centers.
