RECOMMENDATION:
Recommendation Concerning the Request for Disposition of Property for the Road Division - Joy D. Blackmon, P.E., Public Works Department Director

That the Board approve a Request for Disposition of Property Form for the Roads Division, for two Aebi Slope Mowers, which are listed on the Request Form.  Both are to be written off to trade in for new mowers. 
BACKGROUND:
Escambia County policy establishes the procedure for disposition of surplus or obsolete equipment. Both the policy and the procedure are in accordance with Florida Statutes that require the Board of County Commissioners to declare surplus all assets items listed on the County's fixed asset inventory that require disposition.

POLICY/REQUIREMENT FOR BOARD ACTION:
This Recommendation is in compliance with Board of County Commissioner Policy - Section II, B-1, Procedures for Disposition of County Property.
IMPLEMENTATION/COORDINATION:
Upon approval by the Board and document execution, the Public Works Department, Road Division will remove the property tag and return the tag and signed Disposition to the Clerk of the Circuit Court. The Clerk's Office will remove the equipment from the Road Division's inventory.
