Recommendation Concerning Supplemental Budget Amendment #181 - Stephan Hall, Budget Manager, Management and Budget Services Department

That the Board adopt the Resolution approving Supplemental Budget Amendment #181, Local Option Sales Tax Fund III (352), in the amount of $190,000, to recognize proceeds from the Santa Rosa Island Authority (SRIA), and to appropriate these funds for design and construction of a public restroom facility and boardwalk with observation platform across County Road 399 from the Portofino Condominiums.

BACKGROUND:

On May 5, 2016, the Board approved an Interlocal Agreement between Escambia County and the SRIA relating to design and construction of a public restroom facility and boardwalk with observation platform across County Road 399 from the Portofino Condominiums on Pensacola Beach. The project is expected to cost $300,000, and the SRIA has provided the first installment of $190,000 which is being appropriated with this amendment.

BUDGETARY IMPACT:

This amendment will increase Fund 352 by $190,000.
