RECOMMENDATION:

Recommendation Concerning Memorandum of Understanding between Escambia County and Escambia Community Clinics to Expand Pediatric Services in Cantonment - Commissioner Steven Barry, District 5

That the Board approve, subject to Legal review and sign-off, the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Escambia County and Escambia Community Clinics to fund $250,000, for the expansion of Pediatric Services in Cantonment, Florida.

[MOU WILL BE DISTRIBUTED UNDER SEPARATE COVER]

BACKGROUND:

At the Board's meeting on May 19, 2016, the Board voted to bring forward a recommendation on the June 2, 2016 agenda to discuss funding $250,000 to expand the Pediatric Services in Cantonment, Florida.

BUDGETARY IMPACT:

The funding source for the $250,000 is to be determined by the Board.

LEGAL CONSIDERATIONS/SIGN-OFF:

The County Attorney's Office is preparing the Memorandum of Understanding.
