RECOMMENDATION:
Recommendation Concerning Supplemental Budget Amendment #173 - Stephan Hall, Budget Manager, Management and Budget Services

That the Board adopt the Resolution approving Supplemental Budget Amendment #173, Local Option Sales Tax III Fund (352), in the amount of $6,503,653, to recognize proceeds from two Federally Funded Sub-grant Agreements from the United States Department of Homeland Security, Federal Emergency Management Agency, and to appropriate these funds for Hazard Mitigation within the Bristol Creek Area and the Lake Charlene Area.
BACKGROUND:
On June 2, 2016, the Board approved United States Department of Homeland Security (USDHS), Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP) Sub-grant agreements for the Bristol Creek/Bristol Park/Ashbury Hills Area (Project Number 4177-08-R), and the Lake Charlene Warrington Drainage Area (Project Number 4177-19-R).  Both provide for 100% federal funding for hazard mitigation with Local Global Match approval.  The Bristol Creek Area funding is $6,189,379 and the Lake Charlene Area funding is $314,274.
BUDGETARY IMPACT:
This amendment will increase Fund 352 by $6,503,653.
