Recommendation Concerning the Reallocation of Capital Improvement Program Funds - Joy D. Blackmon, P.E., Public Works Department Director

That the Board approve the reallocation of funds from the Capital Improvement Program to fund other priority infrastructure projects, totaling $100,000, as follows:

BACKGROUND:

Escambia County Public Works staff requests the Board's approval to transfer $100,000 from the Maplewoods Drainage Project (District 3) to the project described below:

Description	District	Amount	Description of Project
Lincoln Park	3	$100,000	The parking lot for the County park located at the intersection of Aaron Drive and Channing Place experiences surface and ground water intrusion, making parking extremely difficult at times. Additionally, groundwater runs over and sits in the curbs, which have deteriorated. The scope of this project will remove the deteriorated curbs and roadway, install under drains, rebuild the road, install new curb, and stabilize the parking area.

BUDGETARY IMPACT:

No budgetary impact occurs. Funding is currently available in Fund 352, "Local Option Sales Tax III", Account 210107.
