RECOMMENDATION:
Recommendation Concerning the Memorandum of Understanding with the Community Action Program Committee, Inc., for Renovations of the Old Molino School Cafeteria Building - Commissioner Steven Barry, District 5

That the Board approve and authorize the Chairman to sign the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Community Action Program Committee, Inc.,  for the renovations of the Old Molino School Cafeteria Building, with the amount not to exceed $199,714.

THE MOU WILL BE DISTRIBUTED UNDER SEPARATE COVER.

BACKGROUND:
During the renovations to the Old Molino School, the cafeteria building wasn’t renovated.  On April 15, 2016, the County's Facilities Management Department came up with an estimated cost of $199,714 to completely renovate the cafeteria building.  The Community Action Program Committee, Inc., has agreed to completely renovate the cafeteria building with a not-to-exceed budget of $199,714.
BUDGETARY IMPACT:
The funding, not to exceed $199,714, will come from the Old Molino School renovation budget.  Fund 352, LOST III, Cost Center 110267.
LEGAL CONSIDERATIONS/SIGN-OFF:
The County Attorney’s Office is preparing the Memorandum of Understanding.
