RECOMMENDATION:
Recommendation Concerning Contract Award for Juvenile Services - Claudia Simmons, Manager, Office of Purchasing

That the Board approve and authorize the County Administrator to sign the Agreement between Escambia County, Florida, and Silver Lining - Dealing with Mental Health, Inc., per the terms and conditions of PD 15-16.020, Juvenile Services, for a total amount of $20,000, to be paid in 12 equal monthly payments of $1,666.66, for all services provided per the agreement.

BACKGROUND:
The Request for Proposals was advertised in the Pensacola News Journal on Monday, January 4, 2016.  One proposal was received on Tuesday, January 20, 2016.  The Selection Committee met with the firm on January 26, 2016 to discuss with the proposer their  ability to provide the services outlined in the solicitation.  On February 10, 2016 the Proposal Review Committee approved for recommendation the award to Silver Lining - Dealing with Mental Health, Inc.

The agreement was prepared by Kristin Hual, Assistant County Attorney.

POLICY/REQUIREMENT FOR BOARD ACTION:
This recommendation is in compliance with the Code of Ordinances of Escambia County, FL, 1999, Chapter 46, Finance, Article II Purchases and Contracts.
