| RECOMMENDATION: |
Recommendation Concerning Contract Award for Real Estate Brokerage Services - Claudia Simmons, Manager, Office of Purchasing
That the Board approve and authorize the Chairman to sign the Agreement between Escambia County, Florida, and The Griffing Company, d/b/a NAI Halford, per the terms and conditions of PD 15-16.008, Real Estate Brokerage Services and the provided Agreement.

| BACKGROUND: |
| The Request for Proposals was advertised in the Pensacola News Journal on Monday, October 26, 2015. Six proposals were received on Tuesday, November 24, 2015. Tuesday, December 8, 2016 the Selection/Negotiation Committee met to short-list the six firms that submitted. The firms short-listed were Beck Partners Holdings, LLC, Gunther Properties, LLC, The Griffing Company, d/b/a NAI Halford and Sperry Van Ness. Discussions were held with Beck Partners Holdings, LLC, Gunther Properties, LLC, The Griffing Company (dba NAI Halford) on Monday, December 21, 2016. Due to a miscommunication, discussions with Sperry Van Ness were rescheduled for Monday, January 4, 2016. Following the final presentation, Final and Best Offers were requested from The Griffing Company, d/b/a NAI Halford and Sperry Van Ness. On Wednesday, January 6, 2016 the committee selected The Griffing Company, d/b/a NAI Halford based on lowest fees offered. |

This recommendation is in compliance with the Code of Ordinances of Escambia County, FL 1999, Chapter 46, Finance, Article II Purchases and Contracts.
