RECOMMENDATION:

Recommendation Concerning the Request for Disposition of Surplus Property for the Building Inspections Division - Donald R. Mayo, CBO, Building Services Department Director

That the Board approve the Request for Disposition of Property Form for the Building Inspections Division, for property which is listed on the Disposition Form, with reasons for disposition stated. The listed items have been found to be of no further stated usefulness to the County; thus, it is requested that they be auctioned as surplus or disposed of properly.

BACKGROUND:

Escambia County policy establishes the procedure for disposing of surplus or obsolete equipment. The surplus property listed on the attached Disposition Form has been checked, declared to be obsolete and/or of no use to the County and suitable to be auctioned or properly disposed.

BUDGETARY IMPACT:

Possible recoup of funds if/when property goes to auction.

POLICY/REQUIREMENT FOR BOARD ACTION:

This recommendation is in compliance with Board of County Commissioner Policy B-1,2, Section II, Procedures for Disposition of County Property.

IMPLEMENTATION/COORDINATION:

All property will be disposed of according to the Disposition of County Property policies of the BCC.
