RECOMMENDATION:

Recommendation Concerning Supplemental Budget Amendment #078 - Stephan Hall, Budget Manager, Management and Budget Services

That the Board adopt the Resolution approving Supplemental Budget Amendment #078, Federal Transit Administration (FTA) Capital Projects Fund (320), in the amount of $232,448, to recognize proceeds from the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), and to appropriate these funds to purchase three buses with lifts.

BACKGROUND:

Escambia County Area Transit (ECAT) was awarded funds for the 2015 FTA/FDOT Grant FL16-X015-02. These grant funds will be used to purchase three buses with lifts for seniors and individuals with disabilities. The required matching funds for the grant are $23,245, and will be funded from the Local Option Gas Tax (Fund 104).

BUDGETARY IMPACT:

This amendment will increase Fund 320 by $232,448 and requires a $23,245 match. Matching funds will be funded from the Local Option Gas Tax (Fund 104).
