RECOMMENDATION:

Recommendation Concerning the Request for Disposition of Property for the Pensacola Bay Center - Amy Lovoy, Assistant County Administrator

That the Board approve the Request for Disposition of Property Form for the Pensacola Bay Center, relating to a 1989 Ford Ranger Truck, Property Number 035924T, which is described and listed on the Disposition Form, with reason for disposition stated; the truck has been found to be of no further use to the County; thus, it is requested that it be auctioned as surplus or disposed of properly.

BACKGROUND:

The Pensacola Bay Center acquired the vehicle in June 2014. The truck is no longer safe to operate and the costs associated with mechanical repairs are more than the value of the vehicle. The truck has since been towed to the Road Camp.

BUDGETARY IMPACT:

There is a possibility of recouping funds when/if the property goes to auction or is sold as scrap.

The recommendation is in compliance with FS 274.07 and BCC Policy B-1, 2 Section II, Procedures for Disposition of County Property.
