RECOMMENDATION:

Recommendation Concerning Amendment to the Agreement for Food Services for the M. C. Blanchard Building - Jack R. Brown, County Administrator

That the Board approve and authorize the Chairman to sign the Amendment to the Agreement for Food Services for the M. C. Blanchard Building, PD 14-15.094, between Escambia County, Florida, and Sisters on the Rise, Inc., to reflect a change in the hours of operation from 7:00 a.m., until 5:00 p.m., to 7:00 a.m., until 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

BACKGROUND:

On October 22, 2015, the Board awarded PD 14-15.094 Contract Award for Food Services for the M. C. Blanchard Building to Sisters on the Rise, Inc. On Monday, November 9, 2015, Sisters on the Rise, Inc., opened for business with the hours of 7:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, as outlined in the original agreement. After three successful weeks in business, Ruth Armstrong, owner of Sisters on the Rise, Inc., is requesting a change in their operating hours to 7:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Upon Board approval, the Amendment to Agreement for Food Services for the M. C. Blanchard Building (PD 14-15.094) will be signed by both the Chairman and Ruth Armstrong, Sisters on the Rise, Inc., before the change in hours will become effective.
