RECOMMENDATION:

Recommendation Concerning Supplemental Budget Amendment #003 - Stephan Hall, Budget Manager, Management and Budget Services

That the Board adopt the Resolution approving Supplemental Budget Amendment #003, Federal Transit Administration (FTA) Capital Projects Fund (320), in the amount of $317,743, to recognize proceeds from the FTA, and to appropriate these funds to purchase bus shelters and two replacement buses.

BACKGROUND:

On January 8, 2015, the BCC approved Escambia County Area Transit (ECAT) to receive grant funds for the 2014 FTA Grant# FL34-0030-00. These grant funds will be used to purchase bus shelters and two replacement buses. The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) has authorized the use of $79,436 in Florida Toll Revenue Credits as a "soft match" for this project.

BUDGETARY IMPACT:

This amendment will increase Fund 320 by $317,743. FDOT has authorized the use of $79,436 in Florida Toll Revenue Credits as a "soft match" for this project.
