Recommendation Concerning Supplemental Budget Amendment #169 - Stephan Hall, Management and Budget Services Interim Department Director

That the Board adopt the Resolution approving Supplemental Budget Amendment #169, Other Grants and Projects (110), in the amount of $5,604, to recognize unexpended Grant proceeds from previous years from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), and to appropriate these funds for the Emergency Solutions Program (HESP).

BACKGROUND:

The HUD HESP grant provides administrative funds for indirect costs expenditures. Administrative funds are typically expended within the respective fiscal year in which the grant funds are awarded. The total amount funds allocated for indirect costs were not expended during the respective fiscal year. This supplemental budget amendment is needed in order to appropriate the unexpended administrative funds in fiscal year 2015, to allow for the payment of indirect costs due to Escambia County.

BUDGETARY IMPACT:

This amendment will increase Fund 110 by $5,604.
