RECOMMENDATION:

Recommendation Concerning the Amendment to Miscellaneous Appropriations Agreement with Visit Pensacola, Inc. - Stephan Hall, Management and Budget Services Interim Department Director

That the Board approve the Amendment to Miscellaneous Appropriations Agreement between Escambia County and Pensacola Sports Association, Inc., as Fiscal Agent for Visit Pensacola, Inc., to include additional funding from overage available in the Tourist Promotion Fund (108), as approved by the Board on March 19, 2015, in the amount of $1,255,753.

BACKGROUND:

On March 19, 2015, the Board approved allocating $1,255,753 from fund balance carry-forward in the Tourist Development Tax, to Pensacola Sports Association, Inc., as Fiscal Agent for Visit Pensacola, Inc. (Visit Pensacola), to include funds for the Sports Tourism Feasibility Study. This Amendment to Miscellaneous Appropriations Agreement between Escambia County and Visit Pensacola adds this additional funding to their current Agreement and Purchase Order.
