RECOMMENDATION:

Recommendation Concerning Supplemental Budget Amendment #094 - Stephan Hall, Management and Budget Services Interim Department Director

That the Board adopt the Resolution approving Supplemental Budget Amendment #094, Other Grants and Projects Fund (110), for a reduction in the amount of $7,888, adjusting the Grant Budget to reflect the actual Grant balance in the Domestic Security Grant Contract Number 15-DS-P4-010-27-01-379.

BACKGROUND:

Escambia County Public Safety was awarded State of Florida, Division of Emergency Management (FDEM) Domestic Security Grant Contract Number 15-DS-P4-010-27-01-379, and the Board approved appropriating the $16,000 grant budget on February 19, 2015. This budget now needs to be adjusted downward by $7,888 to account for that amount already existing in the grant cost center due to fund balances brought forward from the previous fiscal year. The grant budget will now be $16,000.

BUDGETARY IMPACT:

This amendment will decrease Fund 110 by $7,888.
