Recommendation Concerning the Scheduling of a Public Hearing on February 19, 2015, at 5:32 p.m. for Consideration of Amending the Borrow Pit Ordinance

That the Board authorize scheduling a Public Hearing on February 19, 2015, at 5:32 p.m., for consideration of amending the Borrow Pit Ordinance.

BACKGROUND:

On August 21, 2014 the Board instituted a moratorium on County borrow pit permits while borrow pit regulations were reviewed. This public hearing addresses amendments to the borrow pit ordinance prior to expiration of the moratorium on February 21, 2015.

The ordinance was prepared by County Attorney Alison Rogers and will advertise in the Saturday Edition of the Pensacola New Journal on February 7, 2015.
