Recommendation Concerning Supplemental Budget Amendment #058 - Stephan Hall, Management and Budget Services Interim Department Director

That the Board adopt the Resolution approving Supplemental Budget Amendment #058, Perdido Key Beach Mouse Fund (117), in the amount of $1,900,000, to recognize proceeds from WCI Communities, LLC, and to appropriate these funds for future property purchases on Perdido Key.

BACKGROUND:

On January 5, 2006, the Board adopted Ordinance No. 2006-1 to allow in-lieu fees to be used for impacts to the Perdido Key Beach Mouse and associated habitats. The County has received an in-lieu fee of $1,900,000 from WCI Communities, LLC, and this amendment will appropriate the funds for future property purchases on Perdido Key.

BUDGETARY IMPACT:

This amendment will increase Fund 117 by $1,900,000.
