RECOMMENDATION:

Recommendation Concerning the Request for Disposition of Property for the Public Works Department - Joy D. Blackmon, P.E., Public Works Department Director

That the Board approve the eight Request for Disposition of Property Forms for the Public Works Department, indicating 29 items to be properly disposed of, all of which are described and listed on the Request Forms, with reasons for disposition stated.

BACKGROUND:

The surplus property listed on the attached Request for Disposition of Property Form has been checked, declared surplus, and is to be sold or disposed of, or is being reinstated as listed on the supporting documentation. The Request Forms have been signed by all applicable authorities.

POLICY/REQUIREMENT FOR BOARD ACTION:

This recommendation is in compliance with FS 274.07 and BCC Policy B-1, 2, Section H, Procedures for Disposition of County Property.

IMPLEMENTATION/COORDINATION:

Upon approval by the BCC, the property will be disposed of according to the Disposition of County Property Policy.
