Recommendation:

Recommendation Concerning Transfer of Machinery and Equipment to the Sheriff's Office

That the Board approve the transfer of equipment from the Boards Fixed Asset Inventory Records to the Escambia County Sheriff's Office, as of September 30, 2014, in the amount of $3,282,323.18.

Background:

These assets were purchased during Fiscal Year 2013-2014 with Local Option Sales Tax and Law Enforcement Trust funds, and are part of the Escambia County Sheriff's tangible property asset system. This property is still in use and, pursuant to Chapter 274.03, Florida Statutes, the Sheriff is the custodian of the tangible property of the Sheriff's Office.
