| RECOMMENDATION: |
Recommendation Concerning the Contract for Collection Services for Escambia County Public Safety EMS - Mike Weaver, Public Safety Department Director
That the Board extend the Collections Services Agreement for Escambia County Public Safety EMS, PD 13-14.009, for a 12-month period effective February 5, 2015, to Affiliated Creditors, Inc., under the current terms and conditions.

| BACKGROUND: |
In its meeting held January 2, 2014, the Board awarded Contract PD 13-14.009, “Collections Services for Escambia County Public Safety EMS,” to Affiliated Creditors, Inc., effective February 5, 2014, for a period of 12 months, with an option to extend the Contract for two additional 12-month periods. The Contract’s initial 1-year term is due to expire midnight, February 4, 2015. The recommendation is the result of a mutual agreement between the parties to exercise the option to extend the collection agency services agreement for the first of the 12-month periods.
