Recommendation Concerning Supplemental Budget Amendment #026 - Amy Lovoy, Management and Budget Services Department Director

That the Board adopt the Resolution approving Supplemental Budget Amendment #026, General Fund (001), in the amount of $35,933, to recognize proceeds from the Escambia County Health Department, the Emerald Coast Utilities Authority, International Paper, and Ascend Performance Materials Operations L.L.C., and to appropriate these funds for funding the purchase of an emergency notification system.
BACKGROUND:
On October 16, 2014, the Board approved a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Board of County Commissioners of Escambia County, Florida, the Escambia County Health Department, the Emerald Coast Utilities Authority, International Paper, and Ascend Performance Materials Operations L.L.C., to cooperate in funding the purchase of a new internet-based emergency notification system subscription.  The terms of the MOU state that Escambia County will remit full payment to the vendor and then invoice the other parties participating in the funding.  This supplemental budget amendment recognizes and appropriates the other parties' share of the total cost.
BUDGETARY IMPACT:
This amendment will increase Fund 001 by $35,933.
