RECOMMENDATION:
Recommendation Concerning the Request for Disposition of Property for the Department of Community Affairs - Marilyn D. Wesley, Community Affairs Department Director

That the Board approve the Request for Disposition of Property Form for the Department of Community Affairs, for property which is described and listed on the Disposition Form, with reasons for disposition stated.  The listed item has been found to be obsolete and/or of no further use to the County; thus, it is requested that the item be auctioned as surplus or properly disposed of.
BACKGROUND:
County policy establishes the procedures for disposing of surplus or obsolete equipment.  The surplus property listed on the attached Request for Disposition of Property has been declared to be obsolete and/or of no further use to the County, and suitable to be auctioned or properly disposed of.

POLICY/REQUIREMENT FOR BOARD ACTION:

This recommendation is in compliance with F.S. 274.07 and BCC Policy B-1, 2, Section II, Procedures for Disposition of County Property.

IMPLEMENTATION/COORDINATION:
Pending BCC approval, the Department of Community Affairs will coordinate with Management and Budget Services Department on the disposition of the item via the "Pensacola Community Auction" website for items in good condition, or other appropriate means if items are in less than good condition, per the BCC policy.
