Recommendation Concerning Supplemental Budget Amendment #024 - Amy Lovoy, Management and Budget Services Department Director

That the Board adopt the Resolution approving Supplemental Budget Amendment #024, Local Option Sales Tax (LOST) III, Fund (352), in the amount of $1,027,967, to recognize proceeds from the State of Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) Local Agency Program Agreement (LAP), and to appropriate these funds for permanent construction repair of County Road 295A, Corry Field Road. Matching funds will come from the LOST Gulf Beach Highway, Project #12EN1742, in the amount of $256,991.

BACKGROUND:

The improvements include the permanent construction of CR 295A (Old Corry Field Road) due to damages caused by the April 2014 Storm Event. The Project will replace damaged box culverts with a precast concrete arched bridge. Associated roadway and drainage infrastructure will also be repaired. The construction project will be administered by Escambia County, and FDOT will reimburse the County as costs are incurred.

BUDGETARY IMPACT:

This Amendment will increase Fund 352 by $1,027,967.
